Catherine Distelrath – Manager
Catherine joined the CAM in January 2017 as the CAM Manager. She helps to guide the overall direction of the CAM and oversees daily operations of CAM staff, in close coordination with CAM partners.
Catherine can answer questions about partnerships, funding, CAM policies and structure, and media requests. cdistelrath@swsol.org
Paige Beasley – Assistant Manager
Paige has worked within Detroit’s CoC since 2012. She is responsible for operation of the CAM Access Points and the management of its staff. Paige is a historian at heart and enjoys ancestral research when not at work or with family.

Ed Cieslak – Intake Supervisor
Ed joined the CAM staff in May 2015. He is a part of the CAM External Intake team and his position consists of going to shelters to complete HCV, full SPDAT assessments, and assisting clients with other needs as necessary.

Nona Ingram – Data Entry Keyer
Nona joined the CAM team in June 2019. She manages the Veteran By Name List (VBNL) and Chronic By Name List (CBNL). In her spare time, Nona enjoys studying Korea, reading supernatural novels, and playing video games.

Scott Jackson – System Coordinator
Scott joined the CAM team in October 2018. His role is to work on a systems level to improve the CAM and best serve people experiencing homelessness. When he is not at work, Scott enjoys cooking, hiking, reading and playing trivia.

Julia Janco – Referral Coordinator
Julia joined the CAM Team in October 2018. She is responsible for PSH and RRH referrals, maintaining prioritization lists, and auditing PSH Packets.

Ashante` Tolbert – Site Coordinator
Ashante` joined the CAM team in January 2018 and has served as the Site Coordinator since July 2019. She enjoys gardening and camping in the summer.

Malaika Williams – Housing Resource Specialist
Malaika is responsible for entering and managing homeless applications in the HCV applicant pool system. She works closely with shelters to provide them with homeless dispositions. President Obama spoke at her undergraduate ceremony.

Intake Specialist and Navigation Team
CAM Intake Specialists meet with individuals and families experiencing homelessness. They work with clients to understand their unique situation, refer clients to shelter if space is available and complete an assessment to determine if they may be eligible for further housing resources. Navigators work with clients to navigate the process between intake and referrals to housing resources. They conduct additional assessments, assist clients in completing applications and in securing vital documents.

Carolyn’s goal is to make an impact in some way and that is why she works in human services. When she’s not making an impact, basketball, family, and traveling take up her life. And, she believes you should always add a little sparkle in everything you do.

Community and Home Supports, Inc
John Stoyka – Director of Housing Programs
In his role, John provides management coordination of housing programs within Community and Home Supports. John is an United States Army veteran. He received his Bachelors in Urban Studies and Economics from University of Washington and an Masters of Urban Planning from Wayne State University.
Matthew Niemi – Quality Control Manager
Matthew manages the CHS resource navigators, who operate to assist consumers assessed by the CAM in obtaining documentation necessary for entry into different COC programs. During the summer, he enjoys fishing.
Lauren Notoriano-Bianchi – Data Analyst
Lauren joined the CHS team February 2017. Lauren was a Resource Navigator for about a year and then transitioned into the Data Analyst role. She helps collect, organize and evaluate data and performance for the agency. She loves adventuring outdoors, rummaging for used vinyl records and spending time with her fiance and fur babies!
